I Saw Three Ships: A Threesomes Secret Santa

Share links to threesome and moresome things that have made you happy.

Please post your subject line in the format: Title. Fandom: Relationships, e.g. a slight apocalypse. Teen Wolf: Allison Argent/Scott McCall/Stiles Stilinsky/Derek Hale and then use the comment to explain a little bit about what makes you happy about it. You might also give any warnings, if that sort of thing is appropriate.

I'm sorry, I will not be running Three Ships this year. There's too much going on in my personal life for me to run the exchange better than I did last year, and I didn't run it very well last year.

If you want to run a multifandom threesomes/moresomes exchange with signups starting anytime between now and March 2014, I will happily post a notice for you on 3_ships, on the 3 Ships website, in my personal journal, and I will send one e-mail notice to last year's participants and pinchhitters.

I'm sorry for the late notice, but it took me a while to come to this decision. Tomorrow, I will post two entries to the comm: one for recs of threesome fic, and one for Dear Sailor wishlists.

1) I have revealed the authors on the main site.

2) An author has requested to remain anonymous on the cookie jar, but didn't tell me which story is theirs. Will that author please e-mail me so I can reveal the authors of all of the other stories? (I can already see who wrote what as part of managing the collection, so you are not losing anonymity by e-mailing me directly, and we can get this all done a bit faster if I can reply to you.)

Please write a letter expanding on what you'd like in a story, what you like in the fandoms and trios you requested, and what your squicks are. You may either write a letter in comments or post a link to an unlocked entry on your journal. Your sailor (i.e. assigned writer) is not obligated to include the things you put in the letter, but they should avoid your listed squicks, and may better be able to determine what to write for you.

Make sure the name on the comment below matches the name you used to sign up with!

If you do not have a Dreamwidth account, you may want to setup an OpenID account in order to comment. Anonymous commenting is allowed but screened by default, so there's a delay.

Assignments have not yet gone out, but the challenge is still ongoing. My apologies for the delay and for not publicly announcing the delay.

Barring additional unforeseen circumstances, they will go out Saturday evening.

Signups are closing on Monday. 42 people have signed up to participate and 42 people have signed up to pinchhit (these are not all the same people.) There are 32 prompts on the Cookie Jar so far, feel free to post your own!

I have sent an e-mail to everyone who signed up to participate and an e-mail to everyone who signed up to pinchhit. If you don't see the e-mail from me, first check your spam or junkmail. Second, comment to this post with your correct e-mail address, and I will try sending you a single e-mail directly, instead of bcc'ing you with a bunch of people, which your e-mail service provider might have assumed was spam. I Saw Three Ships Signup are open and remain open until October 22. Please continue to ask your readers and people in comms for the fandoms you would like to see stories from to participate.

So far, we have had requests for threesome stories in the Ace Attorney and DragonAge games, Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, the Iskryne (A Companion to Wolves) novels, The Adventures of Briscoe County Jr, DC Comics, and Young Justice Animated. Many other fandoms have been requested as well!

People have offered to write threesomes in Law & Order UK, Batman Nolanverse, Babylon 5, Roger Zelazny's The Chronicles of Amber, Queer as Folk US, GCB, Scandal, Big Time Rush, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Final Fantasy VII, Kingdom Hearts, Pundit RPF, Nobuta Wo Produce, and most of Syfy and USA's current scripted line up, in addition to many, many other fandoms.

Remember, this secret santa will reflect the series you are interested in. If you really want to see stories in a particular fandom, make sure to recruit people who are going to sign up to request and write in that fandom.
