Hi, when I signed up, I guess I accidentally put an incorrect fandom in the "Fandoms I can write in" section. I only noticed one place for it, but the confirmation email said tere are 2 (I'm quite sure it was a problem with my own observation skills :)
Anyway, I did not intend to say I could write an AngeltheSeries fic - I only intended to sign up for the other ones. The name I gave was daria. Is it possible that this can be changed since I don't think I can really do a poly Angel fic.
I'm sure if there's a better place to ask this (and if there is I'm sorry!), but I've been trying to read previous years' stories at the 3_ships archive, and I can only get as far as the "archive" page before I'm asked for a username and password that I don't have (. . . or don't remember). Is it supposed to do that? The only year I can get into is 2003.
Out of curiosity, can you tell me what browser you are using? When it requests a password, there should be explanatory text which states that there are no warnings on the stories, and also gives you the user name and password.
For 2004 stories, the combination is user/user. For subsequent years, the combination is user/YYYY, so, for instance, last year's stories are user/2008.
OH! Now I get it. The message isn't very explanitory--I didn't understand that I was being given the username and password in the same message that asked for it. I can get into the archive now. If you still need to know, I use firefox.
Japanese and other Asian fandoms are welcome, but participation tends to be very low, so that I sometimes have difficulty matching people. The best way for you to be sure that you are matched in manga is if you convince two or more friends to sign up with you in overlapping fandoms.
If you do ask for four fandoms in which no one, including pinch hitters, has signed up to write, I will contact you and tell you which similar fandoms people have offered to write in, and ask if you'd like to make an additional request for one of those, one of the fourteen or so 'mainline' fandoms, or drop out of the challenge.
I... didn't miss the check-in yet, did I? Cause I've been checking the comm and my email and nothing, but I didn't want it to get lost in the Intertubes and then me being considered a default inadvertently (I have no plans to default.)
