First week of signups

So far, 14 people have signed up for I Saw Three Ships. \o/ Three special people have signed up just to pinch hit. \o/!

Fandoms requested include (but are certainly not limited to!): Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Kingdom Hearts (someone has done a great recruiting job there; your hard work will affect assignments), due South, Haven, and Losers.

Fandoms offered include: NCIS Los Angeles, Lord of the Rings, Numb3rs, Rizzoli & Isles, Hikaru No Go, Sherlock (2010), Psych, and Undercovers.

Please, go forth and spread the word. If you're watching a newsletter that you think might take our challenge announcement, you can ask them to announce us, or you can let me know and I'll ask them to link to us.

I can get a link put on the LJ White Collar newsletter (I'd offer to do it myself but I'm not up until tomorrow/Sunday my time and there'll be a newsletter or even two before I do mine so may as well get it in asap. :)

Just a quick question, I see Doctor Who is there as a fandom you can offer. But is this just New Who (ninth Doctor onwards) or the whole thing?

No, sorry, got confused and was thinking about something else.

In theory, it could be Doctors 1-8, in practice, most people are requesting/offering Doctors 9-11.

Can I sign up to pinch hit separately from signing up to offer? There are a few fandoms where I'd be much happier writing an extra story if I could check out what was requested first, but can't guarantee making my assignment happy (ESPECIALLY with Doctor Who, where I can't write Eleven but can write anyone in pre-New-series, just about.)

Eeep! Sorry, I just realized that we could do pinch-hit and signup separately (from your answer below). Should I fill out the form for just-a-pinch-hit if I already volunteered to pinch-hit in my regular signup? Or I could list the extra fandoms here if that'll mess something up (list me as multiple pinch-hitters, etc).
