I absolutely don't intend to drop out, I haven't defaulted on a challenge yet and don't want to start. However, I am the person in charge of Christmas here so getting it done and beta'd and re-done will be quite a Thing, and the story will probably turn up at one minute to midnight!

hi, sorry to be obsessive :) but I just wanted to note somewhere not at the mercy of the hotmail goblins that I've just sent in my fic. I'm out of town as of Wednesday the 23rd until after New Year's, so if something didn't get through, I need to know before then. Thanks for running all this!

Eep, sorry, I didn't see this - haven't been checking my circle the last couple of weeks. Currently working on the pinch hit I was assigned (I think as kisahawklin, but might be as kate) and will have it to you tomorrow! Er, today. Later today.

Right. As I was emailing my story to you I re-read the assignment email for the first time in a month and noticed the bit about checking in. (Unexpectedly crazy-busy at work does not a real excuse make.)

I assume you've assumed I'm a drop-out. Oops.

Ah, well. My recipient can have two stories and I'll be more proactive about checking my Reading List next time I participate in one of these.

Eh, I didn't actually do the whole assuming people were dropping out because I never got around to sending the e-mail, and if I don't send e-mail and put something on the journal, I know that I'm totally missing a lot of people.
