Please write a letter expanding on what you'd like in a story, what you like in the fandoms and trios you requested, and what your squicks are. You may either write a letter in comments or post a link to an unlocked entry on your journal. Your sailor (i.e. assigned writer) is not obligated to include the things you put in the letter, but they should avoid your listed squicks, and may better be able to determine what to write for you.

Dear Sailor
Date: 2009-11-20 03:49 am (UTC)Anyway, most of what you might be interested in knowing can be found right here in the general likes/dislikes portion of my Yuletide letter. A few additional notes specific to Three Ships:
* If you were matched to me on the basis of my Star Trek or SGA requests, I really hope the rare threesome hasn't thrown you. They're my OT3s in each of those fandoms, and I will absolutely love whatever you come up with for my story, and also be very appreciative that you did it in a trailblazing fashion.
* If you were matched to me on the basis of my Nobuta request, I will also love and appreciate whatever you write, even though it's for a much more common threesome.
* Sulu being mixed Asian American, not Japanese, is really important to me.
* The linguistics/history/math requested element for Star Trek can absolutely be a minor plot point if you're not linguistically/historically/mathematically inclined. Mostly, I just want one or more of the characters showing off their smarts.
* If you write a sexually-explicit story, then safer sex, particularly for vaginal or anal sex, is very much appreciated in any of my fandoms.
* I'm open to either triangles or V-relationships, whichever works best for you. I do, however, tend to see all of the persons I requested as bisexual (or possibly gay, in the cases of Shuuji and Lorne), so, if you're writing a V-relationship, I'd prefer that the in-story justification for that configuration not be the Kinsey 0-ness of any of the characters.
Mostly, please write a story that you're proud of, and I'm sure I'll be delighted with the result. Thank you!
