It's multi-fandom, open to all gender combinations, and we expect to have a lot of fun. Try it, you'll like it!

* Friday, October 29: Last day of signups
* Tuesday, November 2: assignments sent out
* Wednesday, December 29: Stories due by 11:59 PM, Eastern Standard Time (UTC -5).
* Thursday, January 6 (Three Kings Day): stories posted
* Thursday, January 13: authors revealed

For Part 1 under Fandoms For Which You Will Write, shouldn't the sign-up have tickyboxes rather than radio buttons?

If the characters I'm signing up for are Asian, should I use Asian syntax (Last name, First name) or Western syntax (First name, Last name)?

(And don't worry... I've been down this road before. I know to recruit! :D)

Whatever is most common in your fandom. I don't actually do any alphabetical sorting of the characters, I just like to have the full names to do the table of contents.

I just wanted to let you know, as always, feel free to shoot me a line if you have any sign-ups that you're having trouble matching fandoms with. If I'm familiar with the fandom (and, you know, I'm familiar with a lot of them), I'll be glad to write for it even if I didn't actually include it in my sign-ups.

Looking at the summary, I realized that there were two fandoms I'd be comfortable offering in, that I failed to name. Can that be edited? (Namely, I'd include NCIS and NCIS: LA.)

I generally only write for one "bandom" band, but write for other bands that don't fall under the "bandom" heading. As rockfic is my main writing outlet, I was just wondering how I should sign up, since each band is a very separate fandom for me. Like, should I check bandom for that one band, and list the others as other fandoms I would like to write?

Yes, pretty much. Please, please, please recruit other people who write for your bands to come play with us. I have not, heretofore, had any rockfic participants, so in order for there to be someone requesting a threesome which matches the bands you want to write about, you need to bring your friends!

I was planning on shoving my friends this way, I also have other fandoms that I wouldn't mind writing for, just in case. :)

I am not entirely clear from the signup form -- do we have to request/offer something on the checkbox list, or could we do a signup that was all in other fandoms if we recruited some friends so there'd be overlap?

You can do a signup all from other fandoms if you recruit your friends. (Or your frenemies. Or your flat out enemies, I don't care.)

You don't have to request or offer any fandoms from the checkbox list. Those are just the fandoms that I think, based on past experience, will have a fairly high number of requesters/offerers. (Admittedly, the more people include those fandoms, the easier it is to do matching.)

But sign up for what you want, and bring along some friends who share the fandoms you plan to sign up for. I really enjoy seeing more people participate!
